Welcome to School of MedTech
Okay, so you found it. Press play (sound on, there's a beat), or keep reading for the same thing in words.
You're probably somewhere in the UNIVPM Medicine & Surgery / Biomedical Engineering dual-degree: fresh off the plane and still wrestling the permesso di soggiorno, three years deep and wondering where your notes went, or just done digging through five group chats for the one exam PDF everyone swears exists but nobody can find.
Relatable. That's the whole reason this exists.
What's in the 28 seconds
- Academia is the full Year 1-6 study plan, organised: pick your regulation (MU03 or MU23), pick a year, open a subject, and you get Content Notes, past exam questions, Resources, the Syllabus, Contacts and the subject's Purpose, all in one place instead of a WhatsApp thread that mysteriously vanishes every semester.
- Community is the bureaucratic gauntlet nobody warns you about: the EU and non-EU arrival timeline, step by step, with every step checked against its sources (9 of 9 are verified), plus a forum for the questions you'd never dare type into the group chat.
- Blog (hi, you're here) is where the human stuff lives: what worked, what blew up in our faces, and the parts of this degree that never make it into a syllabus.
The forum, in one paragraph
You stay anonymous. Pick any username you like, because that's the only name other members ever see; your real name and email stay private and are visible only to the WalexLabs team, so we can step in if someone misbehaves. You can search the questions, link yours to the subject it's about, and the pinned "Start here" thread explains how to ask well. Politics stay out of it and kindness stays in, because this place is for study and student life.

Fair warning: it's early days. Categories are staying hidden for now so this doesn't turn into three sad, empty feeds, just one clean one. That'll change as more posts roll in.
